Brighton & Hove Albion are hoping to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Jonathan Obika on a short term loan this week.
The 22-year-old is currently recovering from an ankle injury but it is believed Spurs are willing to let him leave once he has returned to full fitness.
The Seagulls will be without striker Leonardo Ulloa for three matches after he was sent off against Reading and manager Oscar Garcia wants to increase his options going forward.
According to The Argus, Brighton will launch an enquiry for Obika this week.
