West Ham United are keeping tabs on Jason Puncheon after a delay in contract talks between himself and Southampton.
The Hammers are understood to be interested in the winger who has scored six Premier League goals this season and is currently out of contract in the summer.
The 26-year-old would prefer to stay at the Saints but should a new deal not be forthcoming West Ham could be in line to pick up the player for free, though are expected to face competition from Newcastle United should this scenario play out.
