West Ham United defender Joey O'Brien has been selected in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifiers next month.
The Hammers player is one of 26 named in the squad for their matches against Germany and Kazakhstan.
O'Brien's most recent appearance for Ireland came last September in a friendly win over Oman.
