West Ham are interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk striker Facundo Ferreyra, with the current political climate in Ukraine unsettling non-Ukrainian players at the club, according to the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old is understood to be contemplating moving away from the Ukrainian club and the Hammers are said to be monitoring his situation very closely as a result.
Sunderland, QPR and Newcastle United have also been offered the Argentinean on loan, with potential for a permanent deal.
Ferreyra holds an Italian passport so would not need a work permit for the UK.
The Argentine scored six Ukrainian Premier League goals in just five starts last season en-route to winning the title, having arrived from Velez Sarsfield in 2013.
An Argentine Under-20 international, Ferreyra has scored five goals in nine appearances for the Albiceleste.
