Sweden international Marcus Nilsson will train with West Ham United after being released by Kalmar FF, according to the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old was recently freed by Swedish outfit Kalmar and will link up with the Hammers to train and attempt to land a move to Upton Park.
Winston Reid's contract at West Ham is set to expire on June 30 and the New Zealand international has turned down the chance to extend his deal with the Hammers.
Manager Sam Allardyce has turned his attention to replacing the centre-back, who has been a pillar of the club's success this term.
And former Helsingborgs IF, FC Utrecht and Kalmar defender Nilsson could be the perfect replacement for the Kiwi defender.
Nilsson won the Swedish Cup and Super Cup with Helsingborgs and was a runner-up in the Allsvenskan in 2010.
