TV favourites Ben and Holly delighted children on a visit to a Wanstead nursery.
The cartoon characters, who star in the hit show, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, joined a party at the Little Bear’s Nursery in The Green, Wanstead, after the children won a national competition.
The nursery raised money for the charity Jeans for Genes earlier this year.
As part of the fundraising for the charity which helps children with genetic disorders, they entered a competition to design clothes for Ben and Holly.
Judy Levinson, deputy manager of the nursery, said: “Our entry won the competition and the party with Ben and Holly was the prize.
"The children were amazed to see them, and although a few of them were a bit in awe at first they soon mellowed and enjoyed dancing and partying with them.”
