Leyton Orient defender Ben Chorley has completed a shock deadline day move to Stevenage.

The experienced centre back has been captaining the side during Nathan Clarke's absence through injury but has opted to switch clubs with his contract due to expire this summer.

Stevenage were in a position to offer the former Arsenal youngster a longer contract and this proved decisive in his decision to leave Brisbane Road.

There could be an early reunion with the O's travelling to Stevenage in League One on Saturday.
