To mark 150 years of the London Underground a talk on the history of the Central line through Redbridge will take place.
Historian Ian Dowling will give the talk on April 27 at 2pm in Wanstead Library in Spratt Hall Road.
The Central line started life in 1856 to meet a growing demand of people from east London wanting to travel into the city.
The Hainault loop opened in 1903.
