Children sung with the borough’s best in a celebration of music in Waltham Forest this week.
Young pupils from schools across Waltham Forest performed with the London Forest Choir at the Waltham Forest Music Festival yesterday.
Children from Henry Maynard Infants’ School in Maynard Road, Walthamstow, and Parkside Primary School in Weelington SAvenue, Chingford, were among those who wowed audiences at Walthamstow Assembly Hall in Forest Road, singing a variety of songs with the adult choir as other groups performed as well.
They include the Waltham Forest Music Service band, Walthamstow Academy’s Samba group and various wind and brass musicians from around the borough.
The festival concludes on Thursday with an evening concert at the assembly hall from 7pm featuring the Forest Philharmonic Orchestra.
No ticket or booking is required to attend.
