Teenagers arrested after a cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run have had their bail extended.
Edward Orrey, popularly known as George, died after being struck by a car as he cycled in Gainsborough Road, Leytonstone, at around 6.30am on Saturday February 9.
The driver fled the scene and the car was later found abandoned in nearby Bushwood.
Three teenagers aged 16, 18 and 19 were arrested nearby and released on bail until June, but their bail was extended last month.
But police have so far not been able to confirm the date to which the bail has been extended.
Mr Orrey, 56, who was married to wife Elaine for 35 years with four grown-up children and two grandsons, had planned to retire in two years time to spend more time with his family.
He lived just outside Penzance in Cornwall, and was in London at the time of his death for work, erecting steel for the company Severfield Rowan.
