The order in which roads will be closed for work to install cattle grids has changed.
The installation of the grids, which forms part of plans to treble the number of cattle grazing in Epping Forest, started at the beginning of June in Cross Roads, near Loughton.
Work has now started on Forest Side in Epping.
It was expected that Wake Road in High Beech would be next, but Essex County Council, which is carrying out the work for the City of London Corporation, has announced that it will start working on Rangers Road after Forest Side is finished.
The roads will be closed while the work is done and the project is expected to finish by the end of August.
