West Ham United 14 Tempest Girls 0 (Essex Girls League U16): Midfielder Claire Capon got the Hammers off to a perfect start when she put her side ahead after just ten minutes, lobbing the Tempest keeper from 25 yards out.

Georgia Allen and Flo Amess were in great form down the left-hand side and created plenty of chances for the home team's strike force.

It wasn't long before they found themselves further ahead when Leanne Stubbings netted twice with two great strikes to make it 3-0.

Femi Walker was rewarded for all her tireless running when she grabbed two of her own.

Then, just before half time, Amess met a great cross from Samantha O'Brien to make the half-time score 6-0 to the Hammers.

Soon after the break Walker produced a wonderful overhead kick to complete another hat-trick and make it 7-0, but within a minute Megan Jiggins nodded home goal number eight from a corner by Zoe Marshall.

Defenders Alexandra Colley, Abby Brown and keeper Chloe Coombs all worked well at the back to ensure yet another cleansheet and allow the midfield to push forward for more goals.

After some neat play from Anna Wyatt and Ames, Ella Chapman found the back of the Tempest net for goal number nine.

Walker netted her fourth goal of the game but it was Amess who stole the show striking four more times and making the final score 14-0.

Barking 0 West Ham United 10 (Essex Girls League Cup U14): With an injured keeper just 24 hours before the match, Eden Marsh who usually plays up front took the keeper's jersey for the first half.

Faye Picton went in goal for the second half and also acquitted herself well, as did the back four of Holly Trimby, Jordan Hanley, Chantelle Foster and Megan Wood who all rallied round and gave their all to the Hammers cause.

In the first five minutes a cross from Amy Cooley found Maddie Thomas to give the Hammers the lead.

Kim Day grabbed the second Hammers goal from Chantelle Foster's throw in and then Day scored another goal just minutes later.

Thomas got her second of the game when Day turned provider and the Hammers were 4-0 ahead.

Just before the half-time break a cross from Hayley Busby bounced off the Barking keeper and Aimee Garsin-Rose chipped it in for the Hammers' fifth goal of the afternoon.

In the second half Garsin-Rose set up Katie Bottom for the Hammers' sixth goal.

Thomas then completed her hat-trick by scoring the seventh West Ham goal, coming again from a Foster throw in.

An Amy Cooley lob gave the Hammers their eighth goal and Garsin-Rose followed up with the ninth.

The Barking girls still drove forward and Faye Picton pulled off some tremendous saves to preserve the Hammers' clean sheet.

The final word went to Day who rounded off the afternoon with the Hammers' tenth goal to completed her hat-trick.

Redbridge 7 Island Girls 0 (Essex County Girls League U12: The first half was played almost entirely in the visitors' half but despite some urgent pressing from Natalie Flanagan and Fiona Lawrence, Redbridge could not break the deadlock.

The Island Girls keeper pulled off some fine saves.

Redbridge broke the deadlock after the interval when the impressive Fiona Lawrence broke into the box and scored with a low drive. Redbridge scored again when good play from Lawrence allowed Abigail McBride to slot the ball home.

Natalie Flanagan then got in on the act and scored from a pass from Zianab Adekunle. It was the goal of the game as she picked up the ball in her own half and ran past almost the whole defence to drill home.

Not to be out-done Fiona Lawrence beat the Island Girls' defenders to fire the ball into the roof of the net.

Late on in the game, Flanagan put the dependable Jodie Williams through to score and Williams finished with a lobbed shot to end the game with Redbridge comfortable winners.

Barking Ladies 1 Redbridge Ladies 2 (Essex Girls League U11): Having shared the spoils in a thrilling home fixture earlier in the season, Redbridge took all three points in another end-to-end game against their near neighbours.

Redbridge's passion was evident early on, creating a number of good attacks in the first few minutes which were thwarted by some excellent defending and good goalkeeping.

Captain for the day, Edwards, urged her side on and capped off excellent work with a goal ten minutes into the first half.

Smith's stinging effort was well parried by Barking'' keeper and it was Edwards who reacted quickest to the rebound to put her side ahead.

It could have been two soon after but for the woodwork when a fierce shot cannoned back off the post.

Barking were always threatening on the counter-attack and despite resolute defending from Humberstone-Gilroy, Amey and Sanderson and excellent keeping from Redbridge's Hynes, Barking managed to equalise mid-way through the half.

It was Redbridge who showed the greater determination and finishing power when, shortly before half-time, Taylor set up Rainbird for a cool finish in a congested penalty box. The second half was as equally entertaining with Barking pressing for an equaliser and Redbridge keen to kill the game off.

Both sides went close on a number of occasions, including two fine efforts from Redbridge's Shaw-Salmon, one well-saved by the Barking keeper and the other striking the post.

Ryan 1 Puma 2000 1 (Cheshunt League Div 2 U13): Puma were seeking revenge for the early season hammering by Ryan and started brightly.

Ryan defence, minus Fuller through illness, took a while to settle and were tested by Puma.

But the midfield battle was always going to decide a tight and heated local derby.

Top scorer Holloway carved out two chances but missed them both by inches.

Then keeper Giannotti saved a Puma snapshot but was helpless with a long looping effort that gave the visitors the lead at the break. Both teams came out after the interval seeking goals but it was evens in midfield with both defences in command in this end-to-end game.

Ryan bounced back and Holloway grabbed a half chance to chip the keeper to equalise. Ryan could have gone on to win but a Morris shot was just wide. Ryan's MoM: Aqil.

Southgate Adelaide 0 Ridgeway Rovers 8 (Rural Friendly League U9): This victory for Ridgeway was to keep their unbeaten record going despite a hard-fought match between the two teams.

In the first of two games Ridgeway started the brighter but found Southgate hard to break down even with their slick passing.

Eventually Ridgeway broke the deadlock through Clayton after some good build up play.

Southgate continued to frustrate Ridgeway with some good defending throughout until near the end of the first half when, from some neat passing, Ridgeway scored their second goal through Frost.

The second half was a hard-fought contest again with neither team being able to break each other down for long enough to score a goal.

The second match was to be the turning point for Ridgeway.

The slick passing began to open up Southgate and allow Ridgeway to dominate with some good fast attacking play.

Phillips opened the scoring from a goalmouth scramble before adding another before half time.

The second half produced more of the same with Phillips grabbing his hat-trick, before Drew grabbed a brace to take Ridgeway into a 7-0 lead.

Phillips rounded of the match by hitting home his fourth goal of the game to end another great display by Ridgeway.

Weald Bassett 6 Stones Athletic 4 (Chelmsford Youth League U13): The visitors went in front early on. Bassett then found their feet and defender Stuart lobbed the keeper from a corner, skipper Vickery slotted home from an O'Donoghue throw before adding a second direct from a corner.

Watling shot after some neat Cavanagh footwork only to see the keeper parry to Vickery for his net his hat-trick.

The visitors applied some good pressure and got a goal back before O'Donoghue finished off a move started by Glenister and Munday to make it 5-2.

Again the visitors came back with a goal but Vickery killed the game off with his fourth goal, making the best out of a slip by the keeper.

Stones completed the scoring to give the game a more respectable scoreline. Bassett's MoM:Cavanagh.

Weald Bassett 4 Blackmore Spartac 2 (Chelmsford and District League U12): Bassett defended well in the opening period and went ahead through a Baldwin penalty.

Spartac came back strongly just before the break and got two goals, but Mansfield equalised for Bassett.

In the second half Donoghue got his first goal of the season before Lewis struck with late goal. Bassett's MoM: Njie.

Waltham Abbey 1 Buckhurst Hill 6 (Cheshunt Youth League U13): With the wind behind them in the first half Hill were made to work hard but Bishop was always dangerous and he opened the scoring with a great run and shot.

A few minutes later Bishop was the provider for Alexandrou to tap in.

Corderoy was stand-in keeper for Hill and performed well.

After the break, and against the wind, Hill's Max Davies in centre midfield and Smith dominated along with Cornhill at left back playing particularly well.

A Mark Davies cross led to a great volley from Smith to make it three before Ambrose came off the bench with a quickfire double before Chapple completed the scoring.

Romford Royals 1 Woodford Youth C 3 (Echo League U10): From the kick off Woodford exploded into life with Shatford opening the scoring after a minute. Woodford's slick passing caused big problems for Romford, especially the link up play between Purkiss, Jackson and Meakin which was superb.

Shatford added his second with a good strike.

Philips in goal was rarely troubled but did well when called upon.

Caston playing alongside Hamilton in defence was always a match for the Romford forwards.

In the second half Romford used the strong wind to their advantage and forced Woodford to defend superbly at times.

Fricker on the right caused problems with his pace.

Woodford added a third with Meakin tapping home from close range before Romford scored.

Sarvic 2 Woodford Youth D 2 (Echo League U10): The Foxes started well with Martini on the right feeding Sooriyacumar who, in turn, provided the assist for Garber to score.

Slick passing again saw Garber score again.

The second half was tougher as Sarvic surged forward and they pulled a goal back.

The home team brought the game level with a really good long range effort.

Tigers A 6 Woodford Youth 6 (Echo League U11): Woodford started this match brightly but Tigers opened the scoring.

Woodford scored an equaliser with a long-range effort from Miller and took the lead when Shakes fired home.

Tigers levelled just before the break and scored two goals early in the second half.

The Foxes brought the score back to 4-3 through Shakes.

After two more Tigers goas and Woodford looked on course for their first defeat of the season.

Determination and effort saw Woodford score again from Miller and then man of the match Shakes to earn his hat-trick.

With little time remaining Shakes scored his fourth to level.

Woodford Youth 2 Millwall Albion A 2 (Echo League U12): The Foxes conceded a penalty, which was saved by Reid.

The Foxes began to get on top with dominant play in particular man of the match Kitchen.

McVaigh scored a magnificent goal after good set up play by Bell. McVaigh then scored again.

Sloppy defending allowed Millwall to score.

A goalmouth scramble lead to the equaliser for Albion in the second half.

Further chances for both teams came to nothing and the game ended equal.
