Firefighters have been called to a fire in a flat in Liston Way, Woodford Green.
A flat on the 10th floor of a block is alight and two adjacent flats are also being affected.
Twelve fire engines and 81 firefighters and officers are at the scene from Woodford, Walthamstow, Dagenham, Plaistow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Edmonton, Enfield, and Tottenham fire stations.
The Fire Brigade was called shortly before 11am and is currently fighting the blaze.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
