A mother accused of murdering her 8-year-old daughter is set to appear at the Old Bailey
A mother accused of murdering her eight-year-old daughter is due to appear in court.
The body of Ayesha Ali was found at a flat in Broomfield Road in Chadwell Heath on Thursday.
Her mother, Polly Choudhury, 34, was treated for minor injuries in hospital before being arrested and charged.
A post-mortem is to be carried out today at St Thomas' Hospital.
Choudhury is due to appear at the Old Bailey for a pre-trial hearing.
