A festival showcasing local talent kicks off this weekend.
The Stow Festival promises the best of Walthamstow’s musical scene, with something to suit all tastes promised.
Festival chairman, Adam Taylor, said: “If you haven’t been over the past two fantastic years, take a punt and come to one of the gigs, you’ll be surprised by just how good the singers, performers and musicians are.
“Festivals are special as they get us out of our houses and mixing with different people, and we all know that’s what’s great about Walthamstow.”
Acts include singer-songwriter Rhys Williams, rock bands Lark and The November Five, and socialist R&B group Thee Faction.
Venues include Walthamstow town square and various cafes, pubs and community centres.
The festival runs from Friday until Monday and features 25 acts.
