A homeless man who was shot by police when he suspected of carrying a handgun, will now appear in court on Monday.
Gheorghe Anitoae, 43, of no fixed address, was initially due to appear at a preliminary hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court today to face a charge of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident in Hale End Road, Walthamstow on August 20.
His hearing will now be heard at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday September 9.
