Ye Old Rose & Crown to host comdey benefit for the Eat or Heat food bank
Comedienne and MC Ninia Benjamin, TV star of 3 Non Blondes, is on a packed stand-up comedy bill to raise money for Walthamstow’s Eat or Heat food bank.
Steve Gribbin, Phil Butler, Angie McEvoy, Brendan Dempsey and Rob Heeney will also be raising more than a laugh at the Gafaw comedy benefit at the Rose & Crown Theatre Pub in Hoe Street, Walthamstow on September 5.
Tickets cost £15 and all proceeds will go to the Eat or Heat food bank, run by Frank Charles and Gary Nash, to respond to the commonly stated problem, “I can heat the house, but I can’t feed the family too”.
