A 33-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman’s body has been bailed.
Aamena Hussain, 28, was pronounced dead after police were called to a property in Grove Green Road, Leyton, at 3.30am on September 3.
The cause of death is yet to be established.
A man was arrested at the scene and police successfully applied to extend the time he could be held for questioning.
He has now been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The independent Police Complaints Commission is investigating the death due to previous contact between the police, the victim and the arrested man.
