A police raid resulted in a man being arrested arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis at a residential property.
The arrest of the 27 year-old man from south London came following a police raid on a three-bedroom rented house in Grove Road, South Woodford, at around 9:15am on December 18.
Police sezied approximately 30 cannabis plants and cultivation equipment from the scene, and it is understood the cannabis was ready to be sold.
PC Anton Brown who executed the warrant, said "We understand the negative effect that cannabis factories can have on the quality of life for local residents and will take every possible action to shut them down and place those responsible before the courts."
The suspect has been released on police bail pending further enquiries and will report back to police in March.
