Holocaust Memorial Day will be marked on Monday with a series of readings and prayers to remember victims.
The service, in Valentines Park Holocaust Memorial Garden, Ilford, will being at 11.00am and will include readings from Rabbi Hyman, of Ilford United Synagogue and students from various Redbridge schools.
The day marks the 69th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp and will include dedications from the choirs of Ilford United Synagogue and South West Essex and Settlement Reform Synagogue, both based in Ilford.
The laying of wreaths will then take place at the Holocaust Memorial Stone in the park.
