An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a fire on Saturday.
She was arrested on the day of the fire but has since been bailed.
An arson investigation was launched following a blaze which ripped through a second floor flat in Gardner Close, Wanstead, shortly after 5pm.
A woman, believed to be in her 20s, was rescued from the window of the flat by firefighters.
The fire was under control by 6.10pm.
The woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries and smoke inhalation and taken to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.
A police spokeswoman said: "The officer isnt in a position to confirm anything further until the fire investigators' report is in and the suspect has been further interviewed."
