A flood alert issued on Saturday for the Lower River Roding has been lifted, despite warnings of further rain later this week.
An alert was issued after heavy rainfall caused water levels to rise.
River levels have risen in recent months due to water draining down from the upper catchment from heavy rainfall back in December.
Low-lying land, roads and gardens in Wanstead, South Woodford, Woodford Green, Ilford, East Ham and Barking were most likely to be affected.
The Lower River Roding has been placed on flood alert several times this year.
