A collision between four vehicles on the A406 has been cleared.
All lanes eastbound on the North Circular between Waterworks Works roundabout the M11 junction four were closed before 9am following a four-car pile-up.
Police were called to the Woodford fly-over section at 8:45am following reports of an accident and a large oil spill.
The motorists involved in the pile-up declined medical help and no-one was reported to have been injured.
The vehicles, debris and oil spills from the collision meant traffic was queueing back to Cooks Ferry Interchange past the Crooked Billet Roundabout in Walthamstow.
All lanes have now re-opened and traffic is returning to normal.
