Loughton Festival raised £2,500 for a foodbank.
The month-long event in aid of the Loughton charity finished on Saturday.
The final event was a concert by chamber choir Amici Miei at the Church of the Holy Innocents, in High Beach, which including compositions by Mozart and John Lennon and raised around £1,000.
Festival organiser Sue Taylor said: “I’m absolutely chuffed.
“Seeing so many people at some of the events was fantastic.
“This year we moved to May, from March, to avoid the winter weather, and that proved to be a good decision.
“I am now appealing for people to come forward to make teas and sell tickets next May.”
