A man charged with the murder at the City of London Cemetery has been remanded in custody after appearing in court yesterday.
John Nicholles, 52, of no fixed abode, did not enter a plea at the Old Bailey.
The court discussed the timetable of the trial, and there was no application for bail.
He is to remain in custody until the next hearing on October 15.
On July 23 Peter Charles John, of East Acton Lane in Ealing, was found unconscious with neck injuries at the City of London Cemetery in North Boundary Road at 2.17 pm.
He died later from stab wounds a post-mortem examination revealed after being taken to hospital by air ambulance.
