A vulnerable man who went missing from a care home in Highams Park has been found.
Tamay Nidai, 39, a Turkish national, went missing from Highams Lodge Care Home in The Avenue on the morning of July 4.
After being off his medication for over a week, Mr Nidai was found in Borehamwood on Tuesday and is currently receiving care at Goodmayes Hospital in Ilford.
Waltham Forest Police tweeted he was still missing at 5pm yesterday but today confirmed he had been found.
Care home manager Tara Davis said he turned up in Borehamwood two days ago.
She said: "Tamay is in hospital as he's been off his medication for some time but he is quite well and is doing OK.
"He eventually will return to us and we're happy he is safe."
