Rail bosses have apologised again over poor services on the line between Chingford and Liverpool Street.
Last month, the managing director of operator Abellio Greater Anglia, Jamie Burles, and the area director of Network Rail, Richard Schofield, released a joint statement following repeated recent delays and disruption.
They said: “Performance has been well below the standards you rightly expect and we intend to deliver.
“We are acutely aware of the frustration and inconvenience felt by our passengers when things go wrong, so we are taking urgent action to improve performance.
“We are under no illusion as to the impact these problems have had on passengers and we are anxious to put things right.”
Changes listed include investing in an enhanced maintenance regime, upgrading other track and signalling equipment and investing in a programme to tackle the main causes of train faults including doors.
