Fire crews were called to tackle a fire in an organic vegetable shop on Sunday.
Twenty-one firefighters and four engines responded to the incident in Wood Street, Walthamstow, at around 4pm.
At the time of the fire, the shop, which is believed to be a listed building, was empty.
Damage was caused to external timber cladding but crews managed to stop severe damage to the inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
