A group of charity volunteers have raised £3,500 for a local respite care centre after hosting a hog-roast fete.
The Friends of Vitalise Jubilee Lodge held the event at Garnish Hall in Coopersale Lane, Theydon Garnon, on Sunday.
More than 200 guests turned up to support of The Jubilee Lodge in High Road Chigwell, which provides respite breaks for people with disabilities and their carers.
Vitalise’s Clare Ellisdon said: "Each year the event raises invaluable funds for the lodge and its guests, so we would like to thank our friends and members of the local community for their kindness and generosity."
