A man is said to be in serious condition after falling 15 feet from a ladder.
Land, air and first response paramedics were called to the scene just off Upper Park in Loughton at around 10am today following reports that a man in his 50s had fallen from a ladder on to concrete steps below.
The man, who suffered serious chest injuries, was given pain relief at the scene before being transferred by land to the Royal London Hospital.
An air ambulance paramedic also escorted the patient to hospital.
Duty Locality Officer Sue Burton said: "The man suffered serious chest injuries and the crew first on scene did brilliantly to alert the air ambulance team so quickly."
He is said to be in a serious condition however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
