A man was repeatedly stabbed in the face in Walthamstow Market
A man has been charged with attempted murder following a brutal daylight attack in Walthamstow Market.
On Thursday a man in his 20s was repeatedly stabbed in the face and body as crowds looked on in the High Street.
Rafiq Haroun-Bako, 27, of no fixed abode has been charged with attempted murder.
He first appeared in court on Monday and was remanded in police custody to appear in court on October 6.
The victim was taken to hospital ‘as a priority’ following the incident.
