Our regular Then And Now feature on the local history pages (see page 19) always makes me pause to reflect on the passing of time. Some scenes have changed beyond all recognition, some less so. This week’s shot of Woodford Wells in around 1920 is eerily similar to the present day, even down to the curve of the kerb stone in the foreground.
