A pub is set to host a charity race night in a bid to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
The Nags Head pub in Moreton, Ongar, will hold the fundraiser, which will see residents placing £3 bets on horses from a pre-filmed race, on Saturday.
The event will raise money to be added to a fundraising total for event organiser Waren Shepherd's charity trek in Cambodia next year.
He said: "We're hoping to raise a lot of money to add to the total which next year will be donated to the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance trust.
"Fingers crossed it will be a good night, last year we managed to raise around £200 to £300, so we are hoping to have the same success this time."
