A teenager has been charged following an attack at a branch of McDonald’s.
A man suffered cuts to his face after being punched and kicked inside the restaurant in Hoe Street Walthamstow at midnight on Saturday.
Four teenagers were arrested nearby soon after.
An 18-year-old who is yet to be named has been charged with actual bodily harm.
A 16-year-old boy was made the subject of a youth offender referral.
Two other men, aged 18 and 19, received a police caution after admitting their role in the attack.
An unnamed member of McDonald’s staff told the Guardian the group jumped the single male victim.
She said: “It was horrific.
“Our security finished at 9pm so there was absolutely no-one to stop it.
"The poor man was completely outnumbered.”
The London Ambulance service said they were not called to the scene of the incident.
