A youth football club is hoping to create some joy this Easter weekend by donating 500 chocolate eggs to children’s hospital wards.
Members of St Thomas of Canterbury Youth Football Club will donate the chocolate eggs to the Acorn ward at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone, the children’s ward at King George Hospital in Goodmayes, and the Great Ormond Street Hospital in central London.
The Woodford Green club has eight teams from under-7s to under-14s.
