A manhunt has been launched after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
The attack on the 16-year-old took place at the junction of Fairview Close and Millfield Avenue, Walthamstow at around 4pm on Tuesday (May 5).
Police are urging witnesses, including a female dog walker who was seen near the scene of the attack, to come forward.
The attacker is described as a white man aged in his late 30s, around 5ft 7ins with a skinny build.
He was wearing black rimmed glasses and was dressed all in black, with brown gloves.
A Waltham Forest police spokeswoman said:“It is believed a white female with short hair, who was walking a dog, may have witnessed the incident and we are urging her to come forward.”
