The trial of three teenagers charged with attacking on an off-duty police officer and leaving him with stab and bite wounds is due to start tomorrow (May 12).
The 38-year-old man was found stabbed in the arm and with human bite marks on his body on Wanstead Flats in the afternoon of September 15.
In February this year, three teenagers entered their pleas at Redbridge Youth Court in Barkingside.
A 14-year-old girl pleaded guilty to assaulting the man, and a 13-year-old boy pleaded guilty to possessing a kitchen knife.
The third teenager, a 15-year-old girl, denied intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawfully wounding, and being in possession of a knife.
But she admitted to being in possession of cannabis.
All the teenagers, who can't be named for legal reasons, denied charges of arson.
They are due to stand trial at Romford Magistrates Court tomorrow.
