Students have returned from a trip to Majorca to learn about the hotel industry.
Sixteen Waltham Forest College students from the Travel & Tourism course headed to the popular British travel destination to undertake research into a European destination as part of their course unit.
Whilst there they visited the capital city of Palma and were exposed to the working environment practices of hotel, airlines and various catering and transportation providers.
Level three student Summer Milborrow, said it was an incredible experience.
She said: "I was able to experience cultural diversity and a lifestyle different to London, which the city of Palma gives.”
Tom Vittles, curriculum manager, said: “It provided a great opportunity for students to experience theoretical content which was learnt in the classroom and applied into a practical context.”
