A new monthly street market will 'add vibrancy to Leytonstone' after its launch this weekend, according to organisers.
The Church Lane Market will feature a range of handcrafted goods, artwork, homemade foods and novelty items.
It was first launched in December for four days over the Christmas period to a great response, according to organiser Jacqueline Parkes.
She said: “We feel street markets generate a great sense of occasion and vibrancy in a town.
“Being in the centre of town means that we will be able to engage with large numbers of the public, which fosters community spirit.”
“But most importantly, this market aims to support local traders who wish to develop their small businesses.”
The launch on Saturday, (May 16) will take place between 11am and 4pm.
The stall fee is set at £10 in order to help traders maximise their profits.
