A punk band featuring two South Woodford brothers has released its first official video.

Brothers Alexis and Stefan Daperis, who live in Buckingham Road, set up rock band Everafter four and a half years ago but after being signed by Hummdrumm Records in August 2013, they released their debut album in April last year.

This week they released the horror-themed video of their album’s title track, Everything is One.

Alexis, 36, is the lead singer and guitarist, 28-year-old Stefan provides backing vocals and plays the bass guitar, and finally Tim Wiltshire, 24, who lives in Sky Peals Road, Highams Park, on the drums.

Influenced by the like of Green Day and Blink 182, the band hopes the video will help them hit the big time.

Alexis said: “The concept is a horror music video but it is a bit tongue in cheek and a bit of fun.

“A friend of our manager lives down in Brighton and they had an idea for the video, starting off in the graveyard and then in the town hall.

“I would say horror does not fit in with our music, it is not dark in that way, but we thought it would be entertaining.

"There has been a great response on Facebook and YouTube."

Since the band last spoke to the Guardian last year on the verge of releasing its debut album, Alexis is happy with the progress the band has made so far.

He said: “We have done bits and pieces, it has been slow at times, but we have had the opportunity to perform at Wormwoods Scrubs Prison and O2 Islington.

“While we haven’t yet hit the big time, Thin Lizzy didn’t get their break until the second or third album.”
