People living in a care home have had the seaside brought to them thanks to an art work created by teenagers.
Students at Leyton Sixth Form College have been demonstrating their artistic flair at George Mason Lodge, in Chelmsford Road, Leytonstone, by painting a beach-themed mural on the wall of the care home’s garden outbuilding.
One of the 39 George Mason Lodge residents, David Denton, said: “The mural is bright and cheerful - much better than looking at an old brick wall.
"The students did it all by themselves, it is wonderful. The team effort was superb and they also had fun doing it.”
