A freestyle footballer will appear at the community-led tournament, next month.
The Eid cup has been running since 2007 as a response to the negative fall out of the 7/7 London Bombings and the wider divisions in the community between residents of all backgrounds and the police.
Tayyabs Food Store in Palmerston Road, Walthamstow along with London Youth have funded the annual Eid Cup which will feature freestyler footballer and Salaam Peace icon Colin Nell.
500 people have already signed up to the tournament taking place on July 24 and 25 at Leyton Jubilee Park.
Cllr Mark Rusling cabinet Member for children and young people said: "I'm delighted to support Salaam Peace and the Nugent Richard Eid Cup 2015. Salaam Peace do fantastic work with young people - and not-so-young people - of all religions, creeds and cultures.
“They bring people together and make a real difference to our borough. May the best team win in July."
