Essex League Dukes Twenty20

Group F

South Woodford maintained their 100 per cent record by crushing Hutton in an eight-wicket rout on Sunday.

Louis Cant, who claimed figures of three for 23, and Krishan Vadher, with two for 43, got stuck into the Hutton line-up and restricted the away side to 154 for six.

Joe Craddock (62 not out) and Jamie Carroll (31) then batted well to push South Woodford’s total up the necessary 155 with just two wickets down.

Group G

Fives and Heronians clinched their first limited overs win of the season by beating West Essex by four wickets.

Gary Norris’ unbeaten 70 proved the key as Fives chased down the visitors’ total of 135 for eight.

The home side made 136 for six from 16.3 overs to cruise to the points.

Division Four

High Beach eked out a two-wicket victory over Nazeing Common Seconds on Saturday thanks to a strong display with the bat from the middle order.

Set a target of 195 for victory, the visitors made it home thanks to Dan Hanna (55) and Alex Brooks (42); a total of 198 for eight enough to ensure the points for High Beach.
