A college hosted a community day at the weekend.
Epping Forest College in Borders Lane, Loughton, opened its doors to the public on Saturday (June 27) as part of their first community day celebrations.
Residents enjoyed building sand-castles, football practice with Tottenham Hotspur coaches, virtual reality games and air cabin crew training.
The day also consisted of live music, a treasure hunt around the College, face-painting, clay modelling, computerised babies and games created by College students.
Children had their faces painted for free at the college's first community day.
Penny Morgan, Principal of Epping Forest College, said: ‘It was a brilliant day.
"It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves out in the sun and listening to live music while taking part in all the different activities.
‘We are hoping to make this a permanent fixture in the Epping Forest community calendar and we’re already planning for a bigger and better event next year.’
Next year’s Community Day will be held at Epping Forest College between from 12 and 4pm on Saturday 25th June 2016.
