An man accused of racial harassment has been remanded in custody ahead of his trial.
Ricci Pellicci, 33, of Limes Avenue in Chigwell, appeared in Chelmsford Magistrates Court yesterday (July 6) charged with two counts of racially aggravated harassment between May 23 and June 10.
Pellicci pleaded not guilty to shouting and swearing racial abuse to Nadia Chaudhury and Norman Raja.
He pleaded guilty to further charges of possessing a quantity of cannabis and obstructing PC Carroll in the execution of his duty in Chigwell on June 9.
The 33-year-old has now been remanded in police custody.
He will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on July 13 for trial.
