A new piece of colourful street art has been completed over the weekend in Walthamstow.
The piece was added to the street-scene of Elmfield Road as part of the online Global Art Project's #Colourthecapital campaign.
The site was kept secret until it was finished in just two days by renowned Italian street artist Renato Hunto.
The mural received lottery funding and was completed in partnership with Forest Recycling Project, an environmental charity focused on diverting surplus paint away from landfill sites.
Public consultation for the design was carried out by St James Street Big Local after the area was awarded a £1million grant as part of the nationwide Big Local initiative in December 2012.
