A traditional village fete will mark the start of autumn next weekend as it celebrates the annual harvest.
The Fyfield Harvest Fete will be held in the village hall and sports field next Saturday (September 12) in Fyfield, Ongar.
The fete will feature food and drink including a barbecue, afternoon tea and a bar, as well as bouncy castles, “doggy dancing” and a tug-of-war competition.
A mystery celebrity will open the event at 1pm, with live music and competitions also featuring.
Admission for the event, which is supported by Epping Forest Rural Roots and Play in the Park, costs £1.
