There are currently severe delays in on the overground line from Chingford to Liverpool St due to overrun engineering works.
Due to the late finish of works at Brimsdown, trains on that line are not running at present, and there are minor delays between Liverpool St and Enfield and Liverpool St and Chestnut.
London Underground are accepting tickets on all local routes.
National Rail are reporting that 15 minute delays on routes from Liverpool St to Chestnut and Chingford are expected until at least 8am.
But, Transport for London have not said when the service is expected to resume.
UPDATE: Severe delays btn Chingford & Liverpool St due to late finish to upgrade works. Minor delay btn Liverpool St & Enfield Town/Cheshunt

Some people have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at London Overground (LO).
Good old Chingford line ruining everyone's day as usual. You don't get that nonsense on the southern service 😬👋

@LDNOverground any further updates on the Chingford line? Are the trains running, what services are cancelled etc?
