A man has been charged with murder after a young father was shot dead in broad daylight on a popular high street.
Police were called to reports of a shooting at 1.15pm on Saturday, (September 26), in Chatsworth Road, just off Lea Bridge Road in Hackney.
Emergency services attended the scene and found father-of-three Moses Fadairo, 25, with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Christopher Erunse, 27, from Greenwich, south-east London, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
He was arrested in Birmingham on Tuesday morning and is due to attend Thames magistrates court today (October 1).
Two other men, aged 23 and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail.
