An interactive event featuring talking books and moving shelves hopes to change the idea that no fun can be had in libraries.
The Librarian by Inspector Sands event for children over four is heading to both Leytonstone Library, in Church Lane, and Hale End Library, in Castle Avenue, Highams Park.
Leytonstone Library is hosting it three times on Monday (May 2) from 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm and a further three times from Tuesday to Thursday (May 3-5) at 4.30pm.
Hale End Library is playing host on Friday (May 6) at 4.30pm and three times on Saturday (May 7) at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
Visit both libraries in person to book the free tickets and those wishing to attend in Leytonstone can head to www.thelibrarianE11.eventbrite.com or call 020 8496 1190.
Hale End Library tickets can be booked via www.thelibrarianE4.eventbrite.com or by calling 020 8496 1050.
